Ukraine has had battles and a famine before. The famine was large and it lasted for quite some time. (Go on http://ukiegirl101.synthasite.com for more info.[it is the first version of this site] and it has some other sites too.) But, this is the only place you can find information on battles! There are some people that were cruel and terrible. But that was a LONG time ago. Here are some pictures and captions to get you up to date!!!

That looks kinda cool, but I cannot explain. All I know it was the Battle of Poltava.
This is an actual picture of the battle of Corsun! It is a really odd picture to me because there is a man sitting on two other men and one of the men that guy is sitting on has a pointed gun!!! And there is no smiles! (more sarcasm.)
Again I know NOTHING about this picture except it was the battle ay Steppes.
This was the Battle at Liegnitz. I know nothing about it again.
